A real conversation in the central hallway of an office building earlier this afternoon:
Me: “Would you know where I could find this office on this floor?”
Him: “I don’t work in this building, but it is either to the left or the right”
Me: “Thanks”
Moral: When at crossroads, not every input is constructive.
Bonus moral: When you can’t help, it is most helpful to state just that.
